5 Simple Ways to Show Yourself Love




Being kind to yourself is important for any and all stages of life. And this doesn't mean spending a ton of time or money. Here are 5 simple ways to show yourself love:

  1. Take a soothing soak. And if you're not a bath person, a hot shower. The feeling of the warm water and spending time cleansing your body can have a large impact on your mental health. 

  2. Go to bed earlier. Sleep is super important for your energy level. Although you may not want to stop binging your favorite series, a little more shut-eye can largely benefit your overall health.

  3. Drink more water. Our bodies are made up of nearly 60% water. It helps us to function at our best. An extra cup of water per day can do a body good.

  4. Spend a few moments doing something you enjoy. This could be anything from coloring to walking to reading to sewing. If it makes you happy, it's worth it.

  5. Stretch your hands and feet. We rely heavily on our hands to do work and feet to move us around. Give them a little attention to make them feel their best.
